Esta Igreja é obra do mestre de cantaria e arquitecto indígena Zeferino Gutierrez. Para inspiração estudava postais franceses com imagens de igrejas e depois fazia os desenhos na areia para mostrar aos trabalhadores o que pretendia.

This Church is the work of the stonework master and indigenous architect Zeferino Gutierrez. For inspiration he studied French postcards with images of churches and then did the drawings in the sand to show the workers what he wanted.
