Queridos amigos e leitores, em primeiro lugar pedimos desculpa pela ausência das últimas semanas. Não nos levem a mal, mas temos estado de férias, férias verdadeiras, férias mesmo férias, só com umas voltinhas pequenas de bicicleta para não perder a forma e nem uma só noite de tenda.

Do Equador embarcámos numa longa viagem até Astorga, Paraná, Brasil, onde nos juntámos à minha (Sara) louca família para um mês de churrascos, viagens aborrecidas nas traseiras de um automóvel, Natal, passagem-de-ano, um casamento, cascatas, cachoeiras e praia, calor e chuvas tropicais, a celebração do nosso segundo ano de casamento, gargalhadas, discussões e tudo a que temos direito junto à família.

Assim sendo, quem é que se quer sentar a escrever no blog quando pode estar a brincar com o sobrinho de três anos?

Prometemos voltar, provavelmente na próxima semana, com as histórias que ainda estão por contar das nossas fantásticas aventuras no Equador, da nossa atribulada viagem até aqui e mais algumas peripécias.

Entretanto entre um amassar de filhoses e os preparativos para a noite de hoje e o churrasco de amanhã, aproveitamos para desejar a todos um Feliz 2015 e agradecer a todos os que nos acompanham nesta louca aventura desse lado, é para vocês que escrevemos, são (também) vocês que nos dão vontade de partilhar a nossa história.

Dear friends and readers, first we would like to apologize for the lack of news on the last weeks. Don’t get us wrong, but we have been on vacation, real vacation, true holiday vacation, with only a few small bike rides to keep us in shape and not a single night on the tent.

From Ecuador we embarked on a long journey to Astorga, Paraná, Brazil, where we joined my (Sara) crazy family for a month of barbecues, boring travel in the back of a car, Christmas, New Year, a wedding, waterfalls, rivers and beach, tropical heat and rain, the celebration of our second year of marriage, laughter, discussions, and everything one’s entitled to when we spend family time.

After all, who wants to sit down to write on the blog when we can spend time playing with our three year old nephew?

We promise to return, probably next week, with stories that are yet to tell of our fantastic adventures in Ecuador, our bumpy ride to get here and a few more adventures.

However, between kneading some portuguese pastry and the preparations for tonight and for the barbecue tomorrow, we take the opportunity to wish everyone a Happy 2015 and thank to all those who follow us on this crazy adventure, it is for you that we write, it is (also) because of you that we want to share our story.
